International Sales Expert
I hold a M.Sc. in Physics and a Ph.D. in Computer Science both from Graz University of Technology. More than 20 years ago, while still working as an assistant professor in Graz, my long-time friend and business partner Manfred Prantl and I founded a high tech spin-off company. My enthusiasm for working with people naturally led me to sales. We have developed our company from a literal garage company to an international group with branches in Europe, USA and Asia. The sales team has consistently generated average growth of over 25% per year in the last 10 years. At the turn of the year 18/19, we successfully completed an exit to an international group. I can therefore draw on a wide range of experience. From dealing with many wonderful people to experiencing the difference between an agile growth company and a rather inert large corporation.
I enjoy developing sales strategies, selling difficult investment goods to critical customers and motivating scattered sales teams. Only if the complete customer journey is understood, the customer is at the centre of decisions and the person, no matter if an employee or a customer is fully respected, a positive and sustainable sale can be achieved.
This experience has not been collected in a textbook as a pure trainer, but lived and experienced daily in practice. I am happy to pass it on to you.
